Creole Is Easy! Learn a Few Phrases!
Note on Pronunciation:
~ ‘on’ is a nasal ‘o’ sound where the ‘n’ is not pronounced. It sounds like the ‘ong’ in the word ‘song’ without the ‘g’ at the end.
~ ‘an’ another nasal sound as if saying ‘awe’ with your nose held. Silent ‘n’
~ ‘en’ silent ‘n’ with the ‘e’ sound as in ‘egg’
If ‘on’, ‘an’, ‘en’ are followed by another ‘ne’ or by a vowel, then the ‘n’ is pronounced.
